Are you guys ready to get to your first challenge as new tribes?
Wait a minute...
What's going on??!?!?!
OH MY GOD!!!
IT'S...
ALLY LOVATO!! SHE NEEDS HELP!!
It appears Ally has come down with a case of the Plague!
Castaways, things are going to be a little bit different this round! We are introducing a new twist for this round which we like to call...
The Black Death.
How this twist will work is simple.
For this round and this round only, this twist will be in play.
You all will be participating in an immunity challenge, and the tribe that places 1st in the challenge will all win immunity and be safe.
For the two losing tribes, the 3 people from each of the tribes that scored the worst in the challenge will come down with a case of the plague for being the weakest of your tribes.
The 6 people who have the plague, the 3 worst people from each tribe in the challenge, will all go to tribal council where one of you will become a victim of the Black Death and be voted out of the game.
So basically, in other words, we are going to have a challenge. First place tribe of 6 is all safe. For the two losing tribes, the 3 worst scorers on each of the 2 tribes will be removed from their tribe chat and added to a new tribe chat where the 6 of you will go to tribal council and 1 of you will be voted out.
Only the strong will survive the plague and the Black Death. This is a lot to think about, so let's get to the challenge!
Are you guys ready to get to today's immunity challenge?
Immunity is back up for grabs! One tribe of 6 will be immune, the 3 best scorers from each of the losing tribes will be immune, and the three worst scorers from each of the losing tribes will have a date with us at tribal council.
Today you will be competing in a challenge called Save Ally!.
For this challenge, everyone will be competing in their private chats on Facebook with the hosts, and how the challenge will work is simple.
When you begin this challenge, you will start by posting "I try to cure Ally".
Then, in 5 minute intervals starting from the time you made your first post, you will post the exact same phrase again.
So for example, if I start this challenge at 5:30, I would then have to post again at 5:35, 5:40, 5:45, 5:50, etc, all the way until the end of the challenge.
When you start the challenge, there is no going back. You cannot stop and start again, the challenge will continue from when you started.
At any point if you miss a post or do not post at the exact time you're supposed to and are off by a minute, your challenge will be over.
To be clear, in order to stay in this challenge, every 5 minutes from when you first started, you must post on the exact dot at the minute time you're supposed to, or else you will be eliminated.
Now, in order to make this challenge fair for everyone, you will not be doing this challenge for 24 hours straight.
You will have a time limit of 12 hours for this challenge, meaning once you start, if you make it to 12 hours, you will be finished. This gives everyone with different time zones an equal chance of completing this challenge and figuring out when is the best time for them to start.
In the event you start this challenge with less than 12 hours left until the deadline, we will not give you an extension. You simply will only have the alotted time you've given yourself to do the challenge.
We will be judging this challenge on how long you have attempted to try to cure Ally. So for example, if you last 2 hours without missing a single post at every 5 minute interval, your score will be 2 hours.
A few things to keep in mind:
You can start this challenge at any point until the deadline, but your challenge will end when you either miss a post, your 12 hours are up, or we're at the deadline.
A host does not need to be on with you for you to start the challenge. We also are not responsible for telling you if or when you miss a post. You must be the judge of that, and when we are online and able to look through your thread to see if you've missed a post, we will look. Don't make yourself go an extra 5 hours if you missed a post. We will be checking everything.
If you mess up on the phrase you're supposed to post and either misspell a word or don't say the entire phrase, you are able to post it again correctly with no penalty. Keep in mind though, if you are supposed to post something at 5:35 and mess up your post, you only have while the time is still 5:35 to correct yourself. If it is 5:36, you will be eliminated.
We strongly recommend you start this challenge at a time that is easy for you to keep track of your posts. For example, starting at :00, :05, :10 or other intervals of 5 is a smart starting point. Starting at :02, :07, :03, :09 is not a smart starting point.
This is what you are playing for...
The tribe with the highest combined time spent finding a cure for Ally will all win immunity and a clue to the Hidden Immunity Idol.
The 3 people from each of the 2 losing tribes with the most time spent individually finding a cure for Ally will all also win immunity as well, but not an idol clue.
The 3 people from each of the 2 loing tribes with the least time spent individually finding a cure for Ally will have a date with us at tribal council where one of those 6 will becoming the 7th person voted out of this game.
In addition to winning immunity, the 1st place tribe in this challenge will have their votes tallied for the Castle of Oblivion, and the one castaway, from the winning tribe, with the most votes will be sent to the Castle of Oblivion for the round.
Do NOT forget to vote! It is not our duty to remind you to vote for this twist. If you don't vote, you don't have a say if your tribe wins.
To vote, message your private chat on facebook with the name of one person from each of the four tribes that you wish to vote to the castle. These votes are due at the deadline of this challenge.
This challenge will run until Thursday, November 15th at 10pm est (2am utc) and will last for over 24 hours. If you have any questions, ask!
