Dear Manu is the third episode of Survivor: Hawaii.
Immunity Challenge: Slide, Slide Baby
Tribe members will solve a series of slide puzzles. Once a tribe member finishes a stage he collects stars, depending on how fast he solved the puzzle. The tribe that has the most cumulative number of stars would win Immunity - Only one tribe will win this challenge
After Honu voted out the ex-inactive Drama, Daniel begins to consider quitting the game because it is getting boring to him.
Meanwhile at Manu, DB is getting cautious because his alliances are starting to talk to each other. He then tries to do some "damage control" by asking Summer, Kaaitlyn, and Sole to make sure the four of them are aligned. The three of them say yes and DB buys it. He then considers his two alliances. One was him, Summer, Sole, and Kaaitlyn. The other was him, Sole, Kaaitlyn, and Brody. He knows that Brody hasn't been helping the tribe, so he wants to make his alliance be the former option with Yaniv as an affiliate to vote off Brian and Brody, starting with Brian. Little does he know that the two of them are starting to realize the game is on.
Brian has been more strategic, however, when he makes a cross-tribal alliance with Alex and he accepts. Seeing that Brian is now active, Summer feels he could use Brian's vote more than DB, and offers Brian to replace DB. He accepts, and the Manu Alliance of five is official.
The third immunity challenge is to complete as many slide puzzles as possible. A twist is revealed. Out of the three tribes, only one will avoid Tribal Council, so not only last will vote somebody out, but second place will too. Honu tries harder than ever before, but Daniel's inactivity of boredom slows down Honu, causing them to be in last place. It is down to Manu and Popoki to battle for first, and Popoki does it, winning immunity.
Before Honu can go to Tribal Council, Daniel makes up his mind. He decides to quit the game because it bored him a bit, causing Honu to not have to vote someone out.
Summer instructs who votes for who in the split vote. Himself, Brian, and Sole will vote for DB. Yaniv and Kaaitlyn will vote for Brody. If DB plays the idol, Brody goes home. If DB doesn't play it, he will go. Meanwhile Sole is thinking of who will be a threat to him down the road. He believes Summer, Noah, Alex, Zion, and Gerda are his biggest competition. He learns that Brian and Summer made cross-tribal alliances with Alex (though Summer's attempt was for Manu's benefit), plus he has played before. Sole feels that if he could get that info to Popoki, they would vote him out. Also at the merge, Manu and Honu would team up against Popoki, taking care of Zion and Gerda. Sole will make Summer be loyal to him and axe Noah when it's just Manu and Honu.
At Tribal Council, Brody joins DB in voting for Brian, but Summer, Sole and Brian vote for DB. Yaniv votes for Brody, listening to the split-vote plan. However, Kaaitlyn disobeys and votes off DB. Luckily, DB does not have the idol anyway (Yaniv does). As a result, a furious DB was voted out in a 4-2-1 vote.

| VOTED OFF:|
|“||My vote is for DBW. He is annoying and a huge threat.||”|
|“||DB, ur the worst player to ever play Survivor, so goodbye.||”|
|“||You've done nothing, helped with nothing, and strategized with nobody. For that reason, and that reason only, I'm voting for you see you on the flip side.||”|
|“||First vote, first blindside. DB, you have been caught making alliances with every member of the tribe, you cost Kaitlyn her idol, you submitted zero to our last challenge and I'm pretty sure you have the idol. Usually three strikes is enough. I would just like to thank you for giving me reasons to throw you under the bus and take your place as the fourth member of the Manu Alliance. I hope you don't play the idol that you've lied to conceal and you go home.||”|
|“||DB, you have tried to make an alliance with everybody, and that seems suspicious to me. Oh well, it is what it is.||”|
|“||Well as im trying to figure this out i still dont understand it. Firstly Brian and Brody have been inactive for 2 weeks when i constantly contributed Secondly Sole Summer and Kaaitlyn I had talked to all of you and was convinced that I was friends with the three of you oh well its a game and now I get to ruin it for you the same way you did to me.||”|
