Day 19

Ouch. Cheryl really laid into us after that vote. I do feel a little bad, but she disappeared all day and didn't even tell me who she was voting for. AND she told her alliance we could vote her out and there would be no hard feelings cause she didn't do that last challenge. Who's the liar now, Cheryl?

–Matt P.

So Kostas organized Brian being voted out because I told him I wanted Brian voted out... but yet nobody (including Kostas) told me Brian was going to be voted out because they worried I was close with him and would tell him to play an idol. So strangely I got what I wanted this week. I'd say Seventh Heaven gets to survive too, since I didn't vote Brian, but Casper did vote Brian, so I guess Seventh Heaven is dead.

–Alex

I can't believe they voted out Brian! I guess they all saw through his "aw, shucks-ness" but I thought he would sail to the final 6 or so. But now he can focus on the important things in life, like who he's going to take to prom.

–Matt P.

So my game is completely wrecked. In my tribe things are going poorly. Voting off Cheryl has put me and Josh in the swing position between Pav/Chelsea and Ci'ere/Charlie. I want Ci'ere gone, but I want to have Charlie on my side. Also, Ci'ere has really charmed Josh, who I'm not sure would vote Ci'ere out. Ci'ere basically jacked all my goats. Fuck. But what's worse is Brian's vote out. Damn, that really hurt seeing him go. It means I'm left depending on Pav to connect me with the majority alliance

–Matt B.

So Brian is gone as planned. In the end Alex did not vote for Brian, but he seems to be fine with Brian having left. Which is good because I really still want to keep him in the game and start working a lot closer with him. The problem is what we should do if we go to tribal. I do want one of the girls to leave and luckily Kostas seems to agree. The problem is I don't really know which route to take. We could either vote out Faith or Brit and split up that pair or vote out Daniella who does not seem very active. Kostas seems to be leaning toward voting out Faith and getting ourselves a new alliance with Alex and Dani. The problem is that it leaves a very angry Britney in the game, which always kinda happens when you're splitting up a pair. The other person Daniella could leave as one of the less active people on the tribe. I don't know if Faith and Brit are willing to vote for her though. What I also don't like about keeping Daniella is that I feel as though Kostas is trying to get really close to her. I could see him taking her along as a potential goat. That gets me nervous and I think if we'll play a very shady game after the merge, someone like Daniella could be very hard to get rid of if everyone views her as a goat. I think people might actually do that. So I am now very seriously considering getting rid of Daniella, I just don't know if there's any way to get the votes together for that. The best option however would be for now to not go to tribal, but I feel as though we will lose. Seems like no one wants to do the skypecall. Maybe I can do it, but I don't know if I'm even prepared to pull through for our team by doing good at a challenge. I just don't like this tribe hero role, I don't know if I can exploit it and there are just so many cons to it.

–Casper

My master plan: I think there's going to be one more tribal council after this one and that's when we should take Pav out. We should tell him that the plan switched to Chelsea to psych him out in case he has an idol, but still proceed with our vote on Cheryl.

–Ci'ere

I can't stand being as vulnerable as I am now. I have two choices. Vote out Ci'ere and try to get my goats back or vote out Pav, the most powerful player in the game. Pavs become so intimidating. He's got great relationships Chelsea, Kos, Alex and potentially Casper. This next vote is going to decide how my game plays out. I'll keep you updated.

–Matt B.

The plan actually worked, and now it so happens that both Pav and myself are trying to throw the next immunity challenge to get one another out. I hope we can lose. I feel really secure in my group and I know we'll be able to get the numbers on our side at a merge if this all works out.

–Charlie

I am flying in heaven right now. But I am very aware that my position in this game is really difficult. I am both on the outs with everyone and allied with everyone. I am sure I can play into the guys. I think I have actually built a trust with Alex, and Casper is my go-to-the-end. This may be stupid, but I trust him for now. It is a conscious choice, and if he ends up voting me out, then so be it. This game is sooo hot, like a bowl of potato soup. I mean, everyone is scraaaaambling.

–Konstantinos

So I had my epiphany last night, and I know what I have to do now. I need to vote out Pav. I realized that, even if I manage to work my way into his core alliance, Id had have no chance to win. He had a close relationship with Kostas, Alex, Charlie and Chelsea, but on top of that all of the girls are completely enamored with Chelsea. The plan that I've devised is to cut the head off the snake in voting Pav then Chelsea. Once we merge I'm telling all the guys that Pav was planning an all girls final 4 with her (I'll say he wanted me to be the 5 on the alliance) and lied about it. I can only hope that without Chelsea or Pav, this convinces casper to come into the alliance, which will give me an alliance full of people that trust me, and then Ci'ere who I am so skeptical of. I know this is going to completely baffle Pav because I'm sure he does plan on taking me to the end, but I know I can't beat him if that's how I reach the finals. One thing I said to myself before this was that I'd rather go out swinging than be someone's goat, and that's what this is. I'm going to be in control of my own fate, and from here on out if I win or if my lose it'll be because of me.

–Matt B

Things are working out nicely for me. Ci'ere came to me after the vote and said he wanted to vote out Josh next. Which is perfect, because Berk and I needed to pull Josh fully into our orbit, and there's no stronger gravitational force than saving someone's ass.

–Matt P.

Am I worried about the tribe being 3-3 boys and girls now? Yeah. Maybe a little bit. It means it'll be more difficult to find a non-me target in the event we go to Tribal Council again and I don't have personal immunity.

–Alex

Right now we're trying to protect Alex and Daniella, and we know Chelsea and Pav are tight with the other 4 from Arapawa so they've gotta go. What a dumbass Pav is for targeting me. I really wanna know what kind of stupid ass pitch he's trying to sell to them. This is such a positive turning point for my game. I still have the idol which no one knows about. This is gonna be Pav's Delicious Funeral, or maybe mine, but I don't think so.

–Charlie

Day 20

The concern now is that Josh might flip out on Ci'ere and tip him off, so we are working on babysitting him to keep his emotions in check. The plan now is to split the votes between Ci'ere and Charlie. If those two vote Josh, it'll be 2-2-2 and we'll vote for Ci'ere on the revote.

–Matt P.

I can't wait to get Alex and Kostas back for what they did to Brian. Alex is a bully and Kostas is an idiot, and Brian deserved to be here over those two. It's going to be the same with Brittany and Faith.

–Matt B

I got a clue! Hooray! Now I go from worrying I'll be voted out because I don't have an idol to worrying I'll be voted out while holding an idol!! Of course that's assuming I find the thing, but the clue looks do-able. It would be nice to have some idea of what the format of the guess is - a word, a number, etc. But the girls being greater than some blue pearl in Season 17 seems like something I could work out somehow. I'm definitely not sharing the clue, and I'm probably not sharing the fact that I found an idol either. I guess this clue also legitimizes what Ci'ere said about sending in guesses but then being told he's not on Kawau anymore and can't guess for that idol. Good to know Ci'ere was probably honest there. Ci'ere never did make it back to Kawau, but I suppose someone else might have gotten that idol. Probably not Kostas, but idk. Maybe Casper. He wouldn't have had a reason to feel in danger at this tribal, and he was on Kawau for its wins after Ci'ere left Kawau but before I rejoined Kawau. I should get to work on it quickly because I don't want those 12 hours to screw me over. I'll probably even be setting alarms for those 12 hour marks if my first guess isn't right -- or quickly getting on my phone at work and guessing, in some cases maybe.

–Alex

Alex! Please, shut up! Like he keeps talking and talking and talking. Just stop it! None of it is interesting and it is annoying literally everyone. I'm not even in the mood to be entertained by his complete lack of self awareness. I guess this is better than me being in the mood to keep egging him on with questions, so he can talk even more... And I'm trying to just relax and watch a show and fb just keeps making sounds and my phone keeps vibrating (which is giving me a funny feeling in funny place, but still) and I'm afraid to mute it for if something important pops up. Alex, shut up! I DON'T WANT TO READ YOU 50.000 WORD ESSAYS SPREAD OUT OVER FUCKING 200 MESSAGES!!! REALLY AM OVER THAT SHIT!!! Frustration confessional over... Though if Alex keeps going on I may be back here to complain in like 10 minutes

–Casper

That challenge was nerve-wracking. It sucks that we lost because I don't like to lose, but on the other hand this gives us the opportunity to vote out Ci'ere and potentially save Casper or Kos on the other side.

–Matt P.

Winning this immunity is such a huge blessing. We are in this spot where we sit in the middle of the tribe and I think we have a pretty good thing going, but it is really important to see how the dynamics of the game shift on the other side. If Ciere is out then we will need to flip against Faith, to ensure that the girls will not make a comeback. If Chelsea is out, we cna eliminate Alex. In general, I think I will try to keep Alex around. He is too annoying to take seriously.

–Konstantinos

Ci'ere has switched his target from Josh to Charlie. Which helps us even more because now both of them will know he's targeted them and we can get everyone on board to vote him out. I don't really think he has an idol, but even if he does, he should feel totally safe and have no reason to use it. This vote will feel much better than the last one did.

–Matt P.

Is back in one minute. I'm this fucking close to ask Alex whom he's talking to. If I have a conversation with myself, I don't do it in chat with 10 people. Please, stop it, now!

–Casper

My lyrics on my parchment are usually how I feel about them. They make no sense. But my game play usually is all over the place. Yall gone see crazy jósh once me and faith are together again

–Josh
