With Luke and Taylor being the last of Kieta, and a double elimination just taking place, everyone expected a tribe switch to take place.
Uli approached George and told him that he knows he's gunning for him. George then told Uli that he knew about his plans to rid of Luke, something Uli thought only Angeleo knew. Now knowing that George, Luke and the Abau tribe were against him, Uli began to fear for his position in the game.
Uli attempted to form bonds with Taylor and Mick to improve his place in the game. During this, Abraham and Uli suspected that George was forming an American alliance. This thought frightened them, and they attempted to create an anti-American alliance.
Blake and George spoke with Angeleo, and Blake accidentally slipped that Kieta had declared war on Mendi. Angeleo didn't believe it, and approached Luke about it. Luke denied it. Angeleo told Luke that he heard it from Blake and George. With this, Angeleo and Luke created an alliance to break the strong bond between George and Blake, whom Luke could no longer trust.
Now feeling that he had Luke's trust, Angeleo told Luke that George and Blake were targeting Mendi and claiming that Luke was with them. Luke denied this, and told Angeleo that they were lying. Luke then told Angeleo that he would bring Taylor into their alliance to help.
Luke brought the news to Taylor, but she refused the offer due to not wanting to align with a Mendi member. Luke told Taylor that they'd need Angeleo's vote if they switch on a majority Mendi tribe, but Taylor once again refused to align with Angeleo.
A challenge occurred that was believed to determine the new tribes. Mendi won reward, and decided to send Andrei to Exile Island, feeling that he'd share the clue with them.
The contestants anticipated a tribe switch to take place, only to find out that they would be having an Immunity challenge instead.
Brendan decided that he no longer wanted to play, and attempted to throw the challenge in order for Abraham and Andrei to vote him out. However, Andrei managed to win the challenge, saving Brendan. Sean also attempted to throw the challenge, only for Kieta to lose. This meant that Kieta would be dropped down to one member after Tribal Council.
Before Tribal Council, Luke and Taylor said their goodbyes to one another and wished each other luck in the tiebreaker.
At Tribal Council, Luke and Taylor were forced into a tiebreaker to determine who remained alive and continued on. It was a close match, but Luke was victorious and Taylor was eliminated. This left Luke as the sole surviving member of Kieta, and without any close allies.
