- In November 2022, Nick was elected to the Kentucky House of Representatives as a Republican. He won unopposed to replace retiring incumbent Regina Huff.

- Nick is the first player on the ORG to be cast on an official version of Survivor. He won Survivor: David vs. Goliath, receiving 7 of 10 jury votes.
- This makes him the second ORG player to compete on a reality TV show, following Andreas from Survivor: Kamchatka, who had competed on In Real Life 3 prior to his ORG appearance.
