Story

Day 13

After becoming the last Kieta member, Luke became sad. He decided to seek vengeance on the people who Ulonged his tribe. Upon discovering the tiebreaker results, George was pleased. However, he now viewed Luke as a threat.

Meanwhile, Abraham decided that Luke may be the most likely to flip out of fear, to support Abraham's plan to vote out all the Americans.

A tribe absorption occurred. A challenge was held to determine which three tribes stayed intact, while the losing tribe would be absorbed along with Luke. In the challenge, Sean decided that he no longer wanted to play the game. So to shake the game up, Sean threw the challenge to dissolve the Wewak tribe.

Afterwards, Luke was allowed to choose which tribe to absorb into. Uli wanted Luke to join Mendi to gain a possible ally, so JR attempted to convince Luke to join Mendi. Knowing that Uli was targeting him, and having no allies on Daru, Luke decided to join Abau.

Daru was then able to choose two people from Wewak to join their tribe, Mendi would choose the next, and Abau would receive the one not chosen.

Mick, feeling tired of George's tyranny, suggested to Mendi that they take George, in order to weaken his power.

Daru chose Kim and Blake, Mendi chose George, leaving Sean to join Abau.

The reason Daru gave to George for not choosing him was to avoid having another American on their tribe, when they already had Kim.

Before the absorption could be complete, Brendan decided that he had had enough. Brendan openly stated that he was going to quit the game, and apologized to Abraham and Andrei. With no one wanting to stop him, Brendan quit the game. This caused the tribes to switch unevenly.

Trivia

  • This is the first time since You Can Not Expect Everything that there was an unequal number of members between tribes after a switch.
    • However, unlike Laos, where the switch happened intentionally at eight, it was because Brendan had quit prior to the finalized tribes.
  • The episode title was said by Brendan, when he announced that he was going to quit.
