• Nick was considered for Survivor: Madagascar, but dropped out.
• Prior to competing on Peru, Nick competed on Brian & Brendan's Survivor: Borneo. He and Dangrayne finished in a 2-2 tie at the Final Tribal Council, and were named joint Sole Survivors.
  • Coincidentally, in both Borneo and Peru, Nick was part of a 3-3 deadlock tie at the first Tribal Council.
• Nick is the first castaway to receive a clue from Redemption Island.
  • He is also the first castaway to receive more than one clue from Redemption Island.
• Nick is the second contestant to be in two tied votes in the same season, the first being Bob.
  • However, Bob survived both of the tied votes he was in, while Nick was voted out the second time he was in a tie.
