The Friendly Zone is the tenth episode of Survivor: Hawaii.

Challenges

Immunity Challenge: Touchy Subjects
Survivors will answer the quetions about their tribemates. They then have to guess, who was answered the most times in each question.

Story

Day 24

Sole is upset that the only people he really trusted (Summer and Yaniv) have been voted off, and he thinks Zachary flipped, when in reality Tommy did. He also thinks that Gerard voted for Samuel (which was correct). However, Sole realizes that Gerard's vote opened a possibility. The two of them could say that Kaaitlyn came to them and said to vote for Samuel. That way they would think that Kaaitlyn betrayed them, and she would be blindsided. Another thing is that DB told Sole his reward was the idol. If the plan against Kaaitlyn doesn't work, then DB would rally everyone to vote for Sole, and play the idol on him while Sole votes for Alex, sending the Popoki leader home. They decide that turning Popoki against Kaaitlyn would be Plan A, and playing the idol against Alex would be Plan B.

The plan against Kaaitlyn is working well so far, when Samuel agreed to vote her out, and Alex said he would if his alliance agreed. In order to make sure the plan works, Sole goes to Gerda and Zion and tells them the same thing. They agree, and Sole convinces Zachary as well. Sole hopes that it will be a 9-1 vote against Kaaitlyn. Sole tells Kaaitlyn he is voting for her, she said she has links to Popoki and Samuel asks Sole why he lied to him, and Sole abandons Plan A.

Plan B is that DB will rally votes against Sole and it's 9-1, and DB would save Sole with his idol and Sole votes for Alex, sending the Popoki leader home in a 1-0 vote.

Day 25

The immunity challenge comes up. Tommy gets the most guesses right (23 out of 27), so he wins immunity and is garenteed a spot in the Final 9.

DB tells the Popoki Alliance (Alex, Gerda, Zion, Samuel, Kaaitlyn, Tommy) he is voting for Sole and he wants him out. They agree, Zachary agrees to join in. Tommy, thinking that DB could possibly be playing an idol on Sole, decides to vote for Gerard in order to not make Alex go when it is 1-1-0. The plan is for Gerard and Sole to vote together just to be sure and prevent a tie breaker, but Alex talks Gerard into changing his vote to Sole.

Day 26

At Tribal Council, Sole votes for Alex, while Tommy votes for Gerard. The others vote for Sole and it is 8-1-1. However, DB plays the idol on Sole, negating 8 votes against him. Because Tommy voted for Gerard, it is a tie between Alex and Gerard. As a result, the idol play was for nothing. In the revote, DB and Sole vote for Alex. Gerda, Samuel, and Zion stay true to Alex. Tommy and Kaaitlyn stick with the Popoki Alliance and Zachary flips back to Popoki. In a 6-2 revote, Gerard is sent home as the third member of the jury.

There is a twist. There will be another Tribal Council immediately after, and since Zachary was the answer to most of the questions in the challenge, he is immune from the vote. To save himself, Sole makes a speech about how Alex will win if they don't vote him out. If Sole has the rehidden idol, The Popoki Alliance splits the vote 5 for DB and 3 for Sole. In reality Zion has the new idol and DB is sent home as the fourth member of the jury.

• DB became the first person to be voted out twice in a single season, after being in the game only 6 episodes and 15 days
