Night 6

On my god, Eva!?

With her popularity and wieve snatching personality I did expect this to happen but damn.... Now I'm pretty sure the challenge was thrown. Maybe their 1 million margin at the 1st IC gave them enough confidence. I will actually read their tribal answers again to see if there is something fishy.

–Ayhan

Brandon said Rhinnever talked to him at the glacier, but she says that she got to see our dynamics. Interesting... But which side is lying? Where are my fucking scales. #LibraForLife

–Ayhan

Day 7

So, it's day 7, and the Eccentric Eva Diva was voted-out second. It's an unfortunate occurrence, considering that I wanted that Me, John-Bones, Eva and Thomas alliance option open. But ah well, guess we'll have to deal with the depression that our minds shall bring upon us after the closing of that splendid door to possible final 4 heaven.

John-Bones has become severely depressed. He has this weird adoration for Eva. Never really understood it, but whatever. I feel kinda bad for him. I know the feel. Hope he gets over it with haste. I really need a new nickname for Johnny... What about Johnny Darko, as a play on Donny Darko? Yes... I like that. Johnny Darko it is. I wonder what people think of my nerdy-ass nickname schitk. If they knew, they'd probably find it super weird as any person would.

–Aren

At the reward "challenge", we find out about a tribe switch, and I almost immediately piss my pants...Wait, no. It was the older ones who nearly pissed themselves because they're old and alone on our turf.

I'm slightly concerned about Aren being outnumbered, but as long as it isn't me....oh well lol.

–Tatianna

Well... Shit. I was just talking about how boring the day was... Then... Wham. Tribe-switch, baby! I'm now a member of Barents- oh, sorry, Barentsz.

Just my luck. Me and Johnny Darko got swapped to the new Barentsz with 5 freakin' oldies. Wow. What a lovely day to have a swap, hosts; when I have a big majority alliance and I'm in a great position; what a lovely day. So far, the only oldie I've spoken to is Chris Clay. Seems like a cool dude, but strategic. He appears to be smart and I wouldn't be surprised if he votes my ass right out in a jiffy. It's also super convenient that I'm with Johnny Darko. Funny that he thinks he's on the bottom NOW, when he was the next target on the old Bassoe tribe. The swap saved his ass. He doesn't know it, and most likely won't until he reads the confessionals after the game is over. Anyway, all that matters now is the immunity challenge. Trust me, I 'aint doing any of the silly playing down my skills strategy. I'm going all-out. We MUST WIN THIS.

–Aren

Tribe swap! I kinda saw it coming; ever since Cambodia, the last two ORGs I’ve participated in have had swaps after two tribals. We lost Aren and Johnny to Brett and Thomas. I cannot believe my luck, this was perfect. Not only did we lose the one guy who was not in on the James vote and who Ali was worried would flip on us, but my alliance of four are all still intact on nuBassoe, and we have two easy boot options in the two Oldies. Even if Tatianna were to flip, we still have a majority on four and I highly doubt any of the four of us would compromise the good thing we have going for us here. We’re being set up to escape three whole tribal councils unscathed, it’s awesome.

–Marco

A tribe switch? WOW, how totally unexpected! I'm super excited for this!

–Alietta

I am still on the tribe with the majority of the people I was working with. This is GREAT. Plus, I got a break from Aren who was driving me up the wall. Please cancel my subscription to your problems. BYE. But THANK THE RAVISHING LORD FOR PUTTING ME ON THIS TRIBE.

–Alietta

Thomas and Brett could be very useful for my game. If the other side have a "concrete" alliance, then Thomas and Brett are in the minority. If I word it right, I could push the revenge for Eva card and get them to side with us in a tribe switch or merge. This would help me and my allies, especially Tatianna, get in the majority. But, who says he isn't lying? Only time will tell.

–Alietta

In case we lose the immunity challenge, me and Johnny Darko have been talking about ways to escape the iron-grip of the elders. We think at this point that our best shot is flipping Rhiannon, considering that we think that she voted Bas last tribal-council and I actually kinda know her from another ORG from a few months back, so that might help.

Johnny Darko came up with this plan of getting Rhiannon to tell the elders that Johnny has an idol so that they try to split the vote but Rhiannon actually votes with us instead of them and, say, Bas gets voted-out 3-2-2. My only issue with this plan is that I'm not sure Rhiannon would really want to go along with it, considering the option is pretty obvious. Would you rather take a guaranteed 5 person majority alliance or join the two people on the bottom and make it a battle of two 3 person alliances for literally no reason? I would definitely take the former, that's for sure. I'm nervous that Johnny Darko is somehow trying to screw me over here. Trying to pull off this move and thinking it'll succeed just doesn't really make sense at this point, especially for a guy with the intelligence of Johnny, unless Rhiannon was outcasted by the original Barentsz in the first place, which would give her some extra reason to join us but otherwise I'm pretty sure that the 5 oldies have some weird blood-brother shit going on and they are most likely not budging. I'm not giving up, not at all, but Johnny Darko just NEEDS to understand that I think we need a new opening -- a new scheme. We need to find a way to bribe at least two of those old buggers, and I think Rhiannon and Tyler might actually be our best shot. Tyler is like a drunk kind of guy, he types so strangely. Pretty hilarious honestly. I don't think he'd flip to a click of my finger, but I think he'd certainly flip if we gave him a really strong deal. Thing is, Johnny Darko's plan to flip over Rhiannon onto our side really, really has potential, but it all depends on her current position in the game. Is she outcasted? Does she have alliances? Who are links? Who did she vote for at the second tribal-council? All these questions that I just CAN'T wait to get my little teeth into. I obviously can't ask her these questions directly, but hopefully she'll give me and Johnny SOME juice to drink when we talk to her. I've known Rhi before, and I definitely think that I can learn where she sits in the game via her text-language. Anyways, to talk about some of the other new Barentsz members, I was talking to Bas last night. He's another 'chill' dude, just like all these other elder guys. Definitely think he'd be a good target for me, Johnny Darko and Rhiannon if Rhiannon does decide to flip with us. Doesn't seem to really do much in the game -- just be an extra number for Barentsz. Well, that's my analysis so far at least. Who knows? He might be a scientific genius who's just busy feeling out his position in the game. Wouter gives you a 'hero' kind of aura when you speak to him. You can tell that he's adored by his tribe and honestly will probably win a bunch of immunity challenges at merge. Lucky guy, always being in a great position. Talking about Wouter, he just messaged me again now, so I should probably end this confessional. Bye.

–Aren

You know what's amazing about this game? You wanna know? How quickly things can change. Guess what? I may be in a pretty overpowered position, baby! I was talking to Rhiannon, and I was talking to her about various different shit, and then she was talking about how the boys have a 'pick off the girls' strategy and she would've been next after Eva had Barentsz lost again.

This obviously means she's on the outs, but that's about to change. I asked her if she'd be happy to work with me, and she was like: 'fuck yes'. So, I told her that Johnny Darko is probably in for it, and I asked her if she could flip any elders into our alliance to give us a majority. She then confirmed that Wouter, Chris and Bas have a final 3 deal (wtf?!) and her best bet would be smooth-talking flippy-floppy drunkard Tyler into our alliance. So -- me, Johnny Darko, Rhi and Tyler against final-3-deal-city. It's not hard. We JUST need Tyler to confirm that he's in, and booyah, 4 person majority. It almost feels too good to be true. It's like me and Johnny Darko are Andrew and Tasha, and we're about to be calling the shots on the Angkor tribe. I can see those pesky, cocky bastards throwing the immunity challenge, then next thing before they know it it's a 3-3 tie between Bas and Johnny Darko and they're like 'wtf' and Mitchell says: 'third person voted-out of Survivor: Svalbard... BAS.' HUGE-ASS BLINDSIDE. And it was MY move. If I get to the finals, I can take all the credit for it! Woot! I mean, it hasn't happened yet, but I really have belief in this quadruple alliance. As long as Tyler goes with us, it'll work out. He's the swing in this situation and I really think we have the ability to 4-3 Bas the fuck outta this game.

–Aren

Well the tribe switch was unexpected, and it doesn't look too good for me. Im stuck on a tribe with only one other Barentsz member who might not trust me after the last vote. Im going to have to work my social game and see if I can weasel my way into someting before next vote.

–Brett

Well, this surely must be my worst case scenario. I needed a tribe swap so badly, and I got a swap onto a tribe with the people who voted against my closest ally with 2 others, so I can't even reform a majority

–Rhiannon

I cannot believe it, this tribe things they can now whisper sweet nothings in my ear and I'll plod along and just vote how they tell me to and become some form of tribal goat. Newsflash, not happening, fate truly must be brought back into my own hands, whatever means necessary.

–Rhiannon

That couldn't have worked out any better. I survived tribal, and my complete core alliance stayed intact during the swap. I'm afraid Brett's not going to last on the other tribe. We've got control now, but with a swap this soon I think it's very possible there will be another swap somewhere down the line, so I'm making sure to talk with Johnny and Aren, and avoid having bad blood between me and Rhi over the vote.

–Bas

The blindside was succesfull however I feel for Eva. It's not personal girl.

Then the tribeswap: BOOO!! Then being swapped with your whole alliance of 4: Yess!! Now I pulled in Rhi so we became 5 strong. Normaly the merge is certain for us. But , you never know. The best part: if we stay 5 strong,at final 5 I can decide wich way we'll go. Because Rhi is afraid of a final 2 pac between Chris and Bas. We'll see. For now: Johnny and Aren are screwed in Barentsz

–Wouter

Day 8

Sooo, the immunity challenge is another flash game. It's called 'multitask'. Basically, it's one of those stress-games where as you play, the game gets harder and new minigames keep getting added.

I'm pretty pissed off, because I think that old Barentsz are throwing it... What's really weird, is that the exact same thing happened to me once in an ORG - I got swapped with one of my other tribemates and put onto the minority, and the majority who were all from the other tribe threw the challenge and voted my buddy out. It's feckless. These bastards are feckless. But trust me, their inevitable vanquish is arriving soon in the form of four parchments: 'Bas'. Their fecklessness will screw them in this game, especially if they throw this fucking challenge. What a dumb-ass move that'd be, and they don't even know it. They think that outcasting Rhiannon won't cost them their game. They think that me and Johnny Darko can't get any more numbers than 2. Well, think again, fuckers. You think you're sky-high on your high-horse right now with this little final 3 deal? You're so, so, so, so, so, so incorrect. Their downfall in this game will be me and Johnny Darko's reign. All we need is Tyler to flip and, there we have it. A majority! Just a little magic trick presented by your's truly. We already have 3. They seriously have no clue that it's actually 3-3 right now and Tyler is the ONE VOTE that they need to grasp. They're so caught being up their asses with this shitty final 3 deal that they're blinded from seeing the light. If one of them goes, I'll be ecstatic. I mean, it's a completely different thing if they're NOT throwing it, but I'm pretty convinced they are, but they will regret it. Aren and Johnny Darko have more up their sleeve than just surviving 9 days out here.

–Aren

I did a little bit of lying to Chris and Bas when they asked what my score was. I said that my current highscore is 154, but it's actually 217. I will possibly submit it at 217, maybe even higher, but I want THEM to think that I struggled and took ages to achieve that score, rather than showing them it after only my, like, tenth try. I'm not playing down my skill, but in case Tyler doesn't flip with us, it'd help with y'know, keeping me safe and having Johnny leave in my place. Probably won't happen, since I think Ty will side with us, though.

Anyways, I'm pretty sure I got this point against Alietta on lock. I achieved 217 pretty easily. That's impressive, in my head. 'Cause we don't have books out here.

–Aren

I have a really unique strategy for this challenge. Basically: I have a word document with all of my 'real', best highscores on it, and then another word document with all of make 'fake' highscores on it. The difference between the real ones and the fake ones is that the real ones are the ones that I'm keeping to myself, and the fake ones are the ones that my tribemates know about. So, they think my best highscore is 190, but my ACTUAL best highscore is 260.

This gives me two options: upload the 190 one to appear as less of a threat, or upload the 260 one to basically win against Alietta, because I doubt she'll beat that score. Strangely enough, I'm leaning towards uploading the 260 one, because I mean the 190 one is better than everyone else on my tribe's score anyway so it won't help me too much in the threat department, and the 260 one gives me a huge shot at earning my point for the Barentsz tribe. Although, at the same time, uploading my score at 190 might be good in the long-term, but the long-term 'aint coming for a long time, at least until the merge. At this very moment, I have to just think about getting me and Johnny out of this shithole of a mess. THEN I'll think about not appearing as a threat. I see what the big season 30 twist is now -- the outcast twist. Because me, Rhiannon and Johnny Darko are pretty much the outcasts on this tribe. Johnny's the ugly, I'm the ugly, and Rhiannon's the ugly. We're all labeled as the 'uglies' clique in this group. It's disgusting how I said that I got a score of 190, and nobody replied or even said 'good job'. They just scavenged amongst themselves like beetles: 'shit, Aren's a threat. We need to get rid of him now.' Now, if I can just convert Tyler over to the uglies... That'd be something.

–Aren

Well fuck. Accidentally just fucking posted that I want my old tribe to throw the challenge for me and Johnny in the Barentsz 2.0 chat. FUCK. I thought it was our private chat because I was on the computer and I saw his face pop up randomly, so I assumed it was our private message chat... Fuck... We need Tyler or I'm honestly probably fucked.

–Aren

Man this as quick. We are swapped and I'm on the good side of the numbers.

5 original Bassøe are in Bassøe 2.0 5 original Basentsz are in Basentsz 2.0 Aren and Johnny are left alone at the other tribe and honestly I couldn't care less if Johnny was voted out, but I'll need Aren for a little bit in the future. He is out of the Do Wanna... alliance for a reason you know *smirk* I formed a separate alliance with the original Bassøe left in Bassøe to keep us tight and strong against Brett and Thomas. Brett seems like a nice guy, but I never heard from Thomas and he never replied to me. But if he really ends up inactive he will piss of people rom this tribe. I'd rather vote Brett because he seems more focused on the game right now than Thomas. You gotta harvest the biggest fruit first, am I right.

–Ayhan

Immunity is up for grabs. I'm against Rhiannon and I have to beat her. We need 4 wins to get immunity.

Though is win might just be too pointless. If we lose we can vote out Brett or Thomas. If we win, Aren orJohnny might go which means less numbers for us. But there is always the idol that fuels up paranoia and forces you to chicken out of some moves...

–Ayhan

Ever since the tribe switch, there are a number of "what ifs" that crossed my mind. It seemed like a great opportunity to form new bonds and put potential threats, but my best bet is to tread lightly for the time being. I'm definitely going to keep thinking about what I could do and keep planning, but I'm not gonna lay my cards on the table yet.

–Tatianna

We discussed trying to pull in Johnny and Aren for numbers in the future, but they're openly and privately flaunting their relationship with their tribe. I'm not sure how that makes sense strategically if you're in the minority on a tribe, but after their comments about hoping that the other tribe would throw it for them, our alliance is considering throwing the challenge to get rid of one of them. If we do, the person going home really messed up, I think

–Bas

Shove your lies up your ass, Brett. You gave me a reason to target you. And by the way, us girls will prove we don't get ganged up on. Act like a lady, think like a boss. Bye-bye, Brett!

–Alietta

Time to start planting some doubt about Brett

–Alietta

Well shnickeys. Tyler isn't into the idea of the alliance. If I go home, I want it to be in a bomb. If we lost the immunity, I'm considering setting off dynamite at tribal-council -- I know that they'd vote me out. They're cowards. Me and Johnny still have that plan with the idol, but I honestly don't know if that'll help much. If I go home now, I better make the most of it, eh? I'm just so disappointed... If those rats vote me out then it'd be complete injustice in my opinion. I'm not trying to sound cocky, but... The amount of dedication and time I put into this game, my confessionals. Being voted-out because of a swap and drop would suck, it really would. I'm being stupid... I just gotta keep calm and collected, and if I'm lucky they'll keep me. That's all, unless we win immunity.

–Aren

Oh my goodness. Welp... I think Johnny's going home if we lose. Wouter asked me if I'd vote Johnny to stay in the game, and... I say yes. I feel like an awful person, but Wouter said that he'd keep me until the merge with him and his alliance as long as I voted with them.

Obviously, as soon as the merge hits, it's switchy time. I'll go back to Bassoe. But, before then, I'll let myself be Barentsz' bitch for a little bit. I feel awful, Johnny, but this is the game and this is my strongest chance for survival. It's Survivor, buddy. This may seem like a bad move, but in my opinion it is my strongest possibility to make it through the third vote and possibly even into the merge. Then, I can betray these bitches. Who the heck wants to be one of the first three out? Not me. To Johnny and all his fans in the VL, I'm sorry. But hopefully there'll be plenty of Johnny in Second Chance.

–Aren

What really, really sucks about this whole thing as that I have to act like such a dumb ass goat to Wouter. It's kinda bittersweet, really, considering that although Johnny will go and I will have to act like part of the goat herd for a few rounds, they will eventually get their comeuppance. Whether it's by the hand of me, the night-prowler, or someone else.

I wonder if I should stop calling myself the night-prowler. I've become extremely humble in this experience so far. Perhaps I need to allow everyone else to play their role for once. I'm always act so cocky and gamebotty,, and... I get sick of having that sort of mentality in this game. I'm going to feel really bad for voting Johnny out, and it just makes you wonder, y'know? This game makes you wonder. I may seem like this really comedic, light-hearted guy generally, but I think I'm more deep than that. This game takes a toll on you emotionally. A huge-ass toll.

–Aren

All I had to do was convince them in two paragraphs on why Brett should go if we lose immunity and they agree. One minute ago Brandon preferred Brett to Thomas and now he agrees he should go? Okay.

–Alietta

We are so throwing this challenge....I hope it works out

–Chris

aren and johnny are too desperate. i dont mind working with that though, they might be loyal

–Tyler

So Tyler has decided he wants to sheep along with Barentsz strong. So I'm stuck. I can't believe I'm stuck in this scenario for who knows how long because I'm the only one with a strategic bone in my body on this damn tribe.

–Rhiannon

So after the switch Thomas and I moved from Barentsz to Bassoe where we were obviously on the bottom. Over the past day though I have been working my social game like no other trying to make bonds with anyone and weasel my way into something. So far after talking to the bassoe members I really don’t like Ayhan, he was extremely dry and boring to talk to, he didn’t seem all that receptive to my advances. So I would love to vote him out if possible.

I had a really great chat with Alietta, we seemed to bond extremely quickly and I really liked her. She told me that she thinks she is on the bottom and would love to switch things up in the game if we end up going to tribal council, which is awesome. I also learned from her that Tatianna might possibly be on the bottom as well but might not know it. I had a good conversation with Tatianna the first day so we will see if she can be worked over and come to the other side. I’m going to really try and push the angle that her and Alietta need to stick together because girls usually get picked off in orgs (example Eva) Once again I think I performed extremely well in the immunity challenge, I seem to have the highest score so far out of everyone on Bassoe. I hope that they see me as a challenge asset and if it comes down to it vote off Thomas to keep the tribe stronger. Speaking of Thomas, I don’t know how I feel about being on another tribe with him. I like him, but I feel as if he isn’t as receptive to me. I feel like I am always giving him more information than he is giving me. I just tried to have a strategic talk with him about gaining a majority on Bassoe, and he seemed kind of useless. Either he is really bad at this game, or he doesn’t trust me what so ever and is scheming to get me out. So I don’t know. As of now I’m going to see if I can gain this majority of myself, Thomas, Alietta and Tatianna, but if I can’t I will throw Thomas under the bus with everything I have.

–Brett

Okay, yeah, my social game is crap right now. It’s not easy. Throughout the day when I’m constantly on Facebook, almost everyone else is asleep or offline and as soon as I go to bed, I wake up next morning to like 200 messages in the tribe chat which I’ve missed out on. I’m not exactly the most outgoing or the most extroverted person either so I know I gotta up my social game. The easiest way to connect with someone else would be to talk to them about something they’re passionate about, and better still if it’s something both parties are mutually passionate for, and in this case, that would be Survivor. We’re all Survivor fans, we’re a bunch of nerds playing an ORG and with Survivor: Cambodia wrapping up [timestamp this confessional] it opens up a perfect opportunity to bring up discussion.

–Marco

I'm getting a hard wake-up call because Ali, Ayhan and Brandon keep talking about the conversations they've had with Thomas and Brett regarding the Barentsz tribe dynamics and which of the two should go if we were to go to tribal. Ali said something about Brett approaching multiple people for alliances and I'm like, wait a minute...he didn't approach me. So...yeah. I definitely need to up my social game. I

–Marco

So I've been talking with Brett since we swapped to get to know him and be close to him. But one thing I realized from other people (allies) is that he has been talking with the rest of the tribe more and by more I mean "let's work together" more! We talked about the two tribals. I told him that James was voted out due to pissing people off. He kept asking questions. I'm guessing others have already explained to him what went down and he's trying to test me if I am lying or not since James lied about his score I told him that as another reason. I figured it is what the rest told him.

Let's hope for results and if we lose I AM voting Brett before he tries to take a bit at me. I have a feeling he is going to do that eventually since he has had alliance talks with mostly everyone but me. And hisnstory of voting Bas along with Thomas kinda sounds like a stretch but we'll see about that…

–Ayhan

Yes we won immunity! It's awesome. While the other tribe is voting someone out I will try to get to know they new people better. Brett is my target audience to talk in.

–Ayhan

I finally managed to force Brett into asking me to work with him. Yas!

Not that it means anything to me. Well...for now And also managed to catch Thomas and talk with him too. This guy is too MIA sometimes

–Ayhan

Well fuck... I'm an emotional wreck, guys.. UGHHHHHH why does this game do this to me always? It tickles my emotions with a feather like a little play thing.

So, we lost the immunity challenge, and Johnny was talking about making sure he's old Barentsz' target, because he wants to leave the game in my place... The really, really sad thing about this is that I was voting him anyways, so I feel awful because it's like his big, valiant effort will have no effect on the result. Ugh. This is a lesson to me,.. I feel like that one guy in the season -- you always have that one guy -- who keeps flipping between being an emotional roller-coaster and a strategist. This game tugs on the heart strings... It really, really does. I just want out of this fucking tribe already. Merge, could you not come any freaking sooner?! Hello!! Earth to your season, do you even care?!

–Aren

Damn You would think I would be more excited bout having survived this round thining that I was about to be taken out of the game. However now it means I have to post all those chats lol and try and keep up with the tribe. LOL the fun of being on the absolute bottom of the tribe. Though it's one more week to change things around.

–Thomas

We won immunity and I feel great! It's about time those challenge wins got higher!

–Alietta

Sorry, keep forgetting to submit this so I keep adding on to it. Here are a bunch of confessionals all at once:

Day One Confessional Four: So Aren, my #2 at this point, is becoming all so much cockier, so I have to play the rational thinker in our duo. We've pulled in Ayhan and Marco and they're tight with the fivesome of Aren, James, myself, and them two. The girls and Brandon also trust Aren and I, and tried to pull in James as well, I think. Maybe Marco too, to fully isolate Ayhan. Yet it seems like Marco ain't all there. He's as active as a porcupine in the winter. He's also Sir Swingalot because he could easily make the group head to rocks should we lose, so I think it'd be prudent to go ahead and get rid of him. Ugh, I hope I win this challenge. Hopefully Wouter's not a tutor, because I've gotta take Mr. Headband down and claim whatever the hell this advantage is. Day Two Confessional One: Augh, that hurts. I'd rather have lost by a long shot than it to be down to the feeble copper wire. So here we are, Wouter headed off for some fancy idol or another power while I'm sitting here in utter boredom, awaiting the end of this challenge that my tribe has to suffer through. I do believe that my strength in the challenge is a big plus, however. They won't stave me off due to this simple loss when I was inches away from victory. But now it's time to build the foundations for later. Bonds are crucial - just pick up a chemistry book and flip to page 378. That'll give you all you need to know about bonds (Note: Not James Bond). Day Two Confessional Two: So I've been stacking my cards and hopefully the wind won't knock them all down. These people seem to like me which is a good sign... it means my gamebotty gizzards haven't emerged yet. Woohoo! So the alliances have been growing. Since I can't compete, I have to swing on the pendulum of doom between two sinking ships. I have a feeling that with Second Chances still airing, the idea of the voting bloc will fully display itself in this game. We do need tribal unity but, let's face it, it's not gonna happen. I really hope we win, because this Tribal will not be one I'm looking forward to. I'd love to lose one before the swap/merge, of course. --I'll get the rest to you soon but I need to make a confessional for what's happening, I suppose.--

–Johnny

Yeah Brett, you better praise that we won. Now you have more time to scramble your eggs to stay alive.

–Alietta

HEHEHE I actually beat Tyler. That puts one huge fucking grin on my face that has yet to come off. First round goes to Tom on this one smile emoticon Though it does look like the other tribe through the challenge to take out Johnny or Aren which is to bad cause unlike Brett I have absolutely no plans in rejoining the old tribe in voting. I have more trust for this tribe then I do of one that includes Tyler, Bas and Wouter or whatever his name is. I only really like Brett and Rhi from that tribe. Other then them and maybe and I say maybe Chris. I won't fight for any of them. I'm happy to be on a new tribe and I just want to convince people of this and hope we can keep on winning.

–Thomas

We won immunity! I'm so excited because that means I don't have to go to tribal council, and I won't be next voted off. Our new Bassoe tribe is great for me because my core 3 is still with me, Marco and Ahyan are here with us leaving the entire snowman alliance from the original tribe. Brett and Thomas seem nice and so far are good editions to our tribe so far. It's obvious that Brett is playing hard to find a majority, and we really should get him out first if we vote because he is the most dangerous to my game moving forward. Originally I thought Johnny would be okay on the other tribe because we assumed he has past relationships, but after the challenge strike I'm not sure how he'll fare. Aren is in trouble, and hopefully he finds some way into the majority. Best case scenario for me is that an original Barentsz or Johnny is voted out. #prayforaren.

–Brandon

Day 9

Well... I'm not going to spoil anything for you viewers, but looks like tonight it'll be Chris or Johnny in a 4-3 vote. Don't even bother asking how. It'd take forever to explain. Basically, it looks like we flipped Tyler, which is fantastic. Now, if this vote goes through... Me and Johnny might've flipped the script entirely, which is amazing, especially for this point in the game when it looked like we were certain boots.

–Aren

So I'm on the here on the Glacier freezing my bloody ass off, alone I might add. I go in the maze and hit a dead-end, which I'm gutted about, but I have to move forward with where I was before I came to this hell hole. Some say the world will end in fire, some say in ice. Right now, it's ending with ice. When I'm done with this game, prepare for it to end in flames.

This vote and tribe is literally the messiest mess of all the messes, false deals, rats and snakes, all we need is David Attenbourgh to make a documentary on it!

Bassoe won immunity today by a landslide, which was perfect for me. I now have even more time to build the bonds necessary to survive on this tribe. I question though if the other tribe threw the challenge, their scores were really low. And Johnny didn’t even submit which was weird, something doesn’t seem all that right with their lost, but who knows. I was also the top performer on my tribe which I feel will bode well for me if we have to go to tribal sometime soon, as that’s one big reason to keep myself over Thomas.

So far I’m actually enjoying the tribe switch, after the last vote on Barentsz I kind of lost a lot of trust with Tyler as we weren’t on the same page, and I never had any relationship with Bas and Wouter. So hopefully moving forward I can work with this tribe. Currently I think I have been making really good progress at working my way up the totem poll in our tribe. The other day I didn’t get good vibes from Ayhan at all, but today he messaged me, and we talked a little bit of game changing my perception of him. I gave him a lot of information about the Eva vote, I even made sure to make Wouter and Bas sound like the masterminds behind that vote. They are the only two on the other tribe I don’t trust or like and I would love to paint a huge ol target on their backs. Ayhan then gave me a little information about the James vote, nothing substantial but better than nothing. In this game you need to give information to receive information, so of course I’m going to reveal information about our tribe in hopes it propels me further. In our conversation Ayhan even said to me “You seem to have fit in which is good, right ” which makes me believe that I have started to work my way into this tribe which is great. I also still have a great relationship with Alietta, I really like her and would love to go very deep into this game with her. Over the next few days I really want to work on Tatiana, I think she might be a key vote in the coming tribal’s and I need to form a strong social bond with her. It will be interesting to see what happens over on Barentsz, I could see Johnny being the easy vote for not performing in the challenge, but I could also see someone like Rhiannon being voted out as I don’t think Chris, Wouter, or Bas had any relationship with her. Maybe Rhiannon will be able to flip the vote as well. I’m excited to see what happens.

Aaaaaaaaand we predicted wrong. Chris isn't going home. He found out that I'm voting him out with Johnny, so he confronted me about it and it was pretty obvious that he knew about the plan to blindside him 4-3, so there was no point in lying to him.

I'm completely on the bottom, and I'm playing the SHIT out of this game to stay in. I even added old Barentsz to a group and made several points as to why Johnny should go home instead of me. I hope they bought it. Also, I made a promise that I'll probably regret in agreeing to tell them all about old Bassoe if I am kept -- alliances, bonds, whatever they want to know. I know that you guys are all probably judging me because of this, but lets face it: what ELSE am I supposed to do? I was put on a tribe with only ONE person from my original tribe and everybody else is ready from the get-go to take our asses out, 14th and 13th. I gotta make promises and backstab like this if I want ANY shot at getting a placing higher than 13th. I want to merge. I want to make the Jury. I want to win. I will not accept being the third person voted-out, I just want you guys to understand that.

I'm sort of missing not being able to talk to anyone. It sucks being here alone. Get me out of this freezing ass Glacier! I can't wait to get back to camp!
