Twists are the game-changing adjustments made to the original format of the game seen in Survivor: Borneo. In the Survivor ORG Wiki, twists have been incorporated since Survivor: Laos and have continued since. The twists may affect the amount of players, division of tribes, or just overall how the game is played. The chart below lists every twist per season, in which most are planned pre-season.

A Hidden Immunity Idol is a possession that when played grants the possessor Immunity at that designated Tribal Council. Hidden Immunity Idols are the most common twists in Survivor ORG history, appearing in every season thus far. Not to be confused with the Tribal Immunity Idol or Individual Immunity Necklace, this Idol can rarely be won in challenges, and usually takes a clue to find its location.
Returning Players are a recurring twist in the Survivor ORG Series, which originated in Survivor: Hawaii. This twist allows former contestants to re-enter the game whether they are alone, on a tribe of other returners, or with an entire season of returners. Returning Players have noticed to due notably well, as the Final Three of Survivor: Cuba was comprised of all returning players.
